Create layers and organize their content

In the layers tab, add a text or image layer and repeat as needed to build a design with several elements. Enter the text or upload an image, then give each layer a clear name so you can identify its purpose when you return to the project.

Layers sit over the background. Select an element and drag it into place in the preview. Arrange verses, logos, and additional text so each has room to read, and avoid placing one layer over another by accident.

Adjust size, opacity, outlines, and shadows

Layer settings control position, size, and opacity; text layers also let you choose a font, size, and color. You can set outline color and width, plus shadow color, offset, and softness, according to the layer type.

Start with a restrained style and test it over the actual background. Keep text outlines outside the letter shapes where possible, and make sure a shadow improves legibility instead of turning into a dark patch. Check opacity over both light and dark frames.

Preview every layer before exporting

Changing the video ratio can change the visible workspace. After switching between portrait, landscape, or square, review each element's position and size in the preview. Also inspect different moments if a layer is tied to changing content.

Play the exported copy and check images, text, outlines, shadows, and opacity. If a layer is missing or differs from the preview, review its settings and upload the image in a supported format before exporting again.
