Adjust Quran recitation audio: levels, effects, and equalizer
Set a clear recitation level, use noise reduction or effects only when needed, and listen on more than one device before export.
Start with the level and the unprocessed recording
Begin by setting the recitation level so it remains clear and balanced with the rest of the video. Listen to the original file before applying processing: the issue may be recording level, background noise, or microphone quality, and each calls for a different adjustment.
If microphone audio is very quiet or distorted, simply raising the level may raise the noise with it. Record a short sample and listen through phone speakers and headphones before processing a long recording.
Use effects and equalization only as needed
The audio controls include recording noise reduction, room reverb, subtle delay, a multi-band equalizer, and audio enhancement. Change one setting at a time and listen to the difference. An added effect is not always an improvement and may not suit a particular recitation or recording.
Noise reduction may help with some steady sounds such as hiss, while equalization changes frequency ranges. Reverb and delay are effects that you add deliberately; they do not remove room echo that is already present in a recording.
Compare with the original before exporting
After processing, listen to clear words, soft sounds, and pauses, and compare them with the original. Turn an effect off if it makes letters less clear, adds dropouts, or changes the voice in an unwanted way. Results vary by file, browser, and device.
Listen through the video from beginning to end and test it on phone speakers and earphones if possible. Do not rely only on the waveform or effect settings; the exported copy is the practical reference for audio quality before you share it.
