Show the surah name on a Quran recitation video
Display the surah being recited, style it like other video elements, and review transitions when a recording contains more than one surah.
Enable the surah-name element and style it
The surah name can appear as a visual element alongside verses and a logo. Enable it in the text settings, then choose its position, size, and opacity to fit the video dimensions and other content. Use a clear style so viewers can read the name without confusing it with the verse.
Preview the name over the actual background and check its spacing from verses, translation, and logo. Try an outline or shadow if needed, and confirm that opacity looks right over both bright and dark scenes.
Review recognition and transitions between surahs
If a recording contains more than one surah, the displayed name should change with the recitation. Review the start of each transition and listen to confirm that the correct surah appears, without switching too early or too late.
Automatic surah recognition helps prepare the element but does not replace review, especially for short clips or recordings that begin partway through a surah. Correct the source information or project settings if the displayed name does not match the recitation.
Check the exported video
Move through different points in the preview and confirm that the surah name appears, disappears, or changes at the appropriate time. Check the final dimensions too, so the element stays inside the frame when exporting at a different ratio.
After export, play the final file and inspect the name at every relevant point. If the video includes multiple surahs, review each transition before publishing; a visual check alone cannot verify the recitation or its identification.
