Trim Quran audio with a waveform and preview the selected clip
Use the waveform to choose a recording's start and end, then listen through the selected section before continuing with the video.
Read the waveform and set the clip range
After you choose an audio file or record a recitation, the trimming tool displays a waveform for the full recording. Its shape can help you spot louder passages and pauses, but it cannot identify verses by itself; listen to recognize words and stops.
Drag the start and end handles to select the section you want. You can also move the whole selection while keeping its length, which is useful when you want to shift the trim window to another part of the recording. Watch the displayed start, end, and duration as you edit.
Listen to the selection and move through the audio
Use the listen button to play the selected clip, then move the playhead to another point to check a particular word or pause. This lets you review a specific passage without replaying the recording from the beginning each time.
Listen again at both trim edges. A visually convenient start may land in the middle of a word, and the end may cut off the last sound of a verse. Adjust the boundaries until the audio starts and ends naturally. Review the selection again after changing video type or duration because plan limits can differ.
Confirm the clip and review the final video
When the selection is ready, confirm it to continue preparing text and timing. Review the verses even when automated tools suggest them, especially when a recording starts partway through a surah or contains multiple passages.
After export, play the final file and confirm that its audio begins and ends at the points you selected. If a cut sounds abrupt, return to the project and adjust the waveform range instead of trying to hide the issue with a visual design change.
